FISTULA IN ANO – KSHARA SUTRA & FISTULECTOMY RECURRENCE RATE – A ANALYTICAL STUDY.

ABSTRACT

Anorectal diseases are affecting the individuals since the mankind started and mentioning of the guda marga roga in the earlier centuries text do find. The concept here discussed and analyzed for the study is Fistula in Ano (Bhagandar Roga). The study conducted at varies places gives the importance of the Kshara Sutra prepared from varies herbs being considered best in the treatment of Fistula in Ano. The Kshara sutra being the prime modalities in the management of the Bhagandara- Fistula in Ano. Both standard surgical procedure and the Kshara Sutra Available for treatment option. But there are various limitation to the standard surgical procedure. People have the recurrence rate to larger extent for the standard surgical procedure compare to the Kshara Sutra therapy. The study conducted to analyses the importance of the Kshara Sutra Procedure, which causes the less recurrence rate less painful and minimize the hospitalization stay.
