ROLE PRATISHARNIYA KSHARA IN CHARMA KEELA – SKIN TAG

ABSTRACT
Ayurveda is a life science having its roots in the human science evolved and known to humanity. Ayurveda is heavily practiced in India and other countries of the world reason being the life style and non-communicable diseases being increasing like anything. Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment. Ayurveda treatment starts with an internal purification process, followed by a special diet, herbal remedies, massage therapy, yoga, and meditation. Certain procedure and treatments mention here gives the idea and importance of them which is not found elsewhere. The ancient Indian medical system, also known as Ayurveda, is based on ancient writings that rely on a “natural” and holistic approach to physical and mental health. Ayurvedic medicine is one of the world’s oldest medical systems and remains one of India’s traditional health care systems. Being the global burden of the diseases the, Skin conditions contribute 1.79% and many in them which causes the recurrence and poorly controlled due to various infective and non-infective pathologies. Skin tag i.e, Charmkeela being widely present and found in the population infected with certain HPV manifestations. The Ayurvedic classics explains about the many classical prepartion and one among them being the Kshara Application which is Pratisarniya Kshara and used widely in the Skin tag i.e, Charmkeela and proves very effective.
