A REVIEW ON PHARMACOGNOSY, PHYTOCHEMISTRY, PHARMACOLOGY OF PSORALEA CORYLIFOLIA (BABCHI) PLANT

ABSTRACT
Psoralea corylifolia (babchi) is a well-known ayurveda modern herb remedy grown in India and the southern area. North Srilanka and other countries are major sources of these medicines. Babchi has a variety of therapeutic properties, including analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and a well-known activity for treating or curing skin disorders such as psoriasis, leucoderma, and eczema. Flavonoids and meroterpenes are the most important biological constituents found in babachi. This review article summarizes the most recent and well-researched facts on P.corylifolia pharmacological action. This review article contains useful information for future research.
