DESIGN, SYNTHESIS AND ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY OF PYRAZOLINE DERIVATIVES

ABSTRACT
A series of 2-pyrazoline have been prepared by reaction of chalcones which on treatment with hydrazine hydrate in the presence of acetic acid to give acetyl pyrazoline derivatives. The compounds were characterized by based on elements analysis and FTIR, 1H NMR and LCMass spectral data. Purity of synthesized compounds have been checked by HPLC. These compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity against S. Aureus, S.pyogenus, E. coli, P. aeruginosa C. albicans. The antimicrobial activities of the synthesized compounds have been compared with standard drugs.
