ABSTRACT
Catechu is a plant-derived product with antioxidant properties that is used as a chewing product to aid in bital leaf digtion. Chewing the betal leaf is linked to a transient but considerable drop in the levels of salivary cortisol that have been tested.[1] It is mostly rough and hard with a reddish colour property, but it also shows different colour criteria based on its use. For detection of acid and gas production, this is can be microbiological used for media. T. In a biological perspective, catechu potency is a signal. It was a key component of the traditional Indian medical system known as ayurveda.[2] It has no effect on the outcome and produces the same results as the standard
indication system procedure. Because of the high cost of indicators and their half-life span, which affects the natural activity of microorganisms, a low-cost component was used as an indicator.
Keywords: Macconkeys agar medium, Christonsens urea agar, methyl red indicator, catechu powder, colour indicator.
