ABSTRACT
Asthavidha Pariksha is a non invansive method to examine the patient. The concept of Asthavidha Pariksha is described in Yogratnakar. Asthavidha pariksha means the examination of eight main places of diseased person namely Nadi (Pulse), Mutra (Urine Examination), Mala (Stool), Jihwa (Tongue), Sabad (voice), Sparsha (Examiantion by touching the patient), Drika (Eye examintion), Aakriti (Body build). Yogratnakar clearly stated that the physician who didn’t know the normal and abnormal character of Nadi, Mutra, Jihwa etc., he kills the patient soon and does not achieve the fame.
