AN COMPREHENSIVE OVERVIEW OF APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN PHARMACEUTICALS AND HEALTHCARE SERVICES

ABSTRACT

The application of technology can reduce time and costs while improving understanding of the interactions between different formulations and process variables. The application of artificial intelligence in pharmaceutical technology has advanced throughout time. Artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science that specialises on problem-solving using symbolic programming. It has substantially developed into a discipline of problem solving with diverse applications in business, medicine, and engineering. The article covers drug discovery, artificial intelligence tools, manufacturing execution systems, automated control processes, AI to predict new treatments, the creation of novel peptides from natural foods, the management and treatment of rare diseases, drug adherence and dosage, and barriers to AI adoption in the pharmaceutical industry.
