ROLE OF JATYADI GHRUTA & EUSOL DRESSING – A COMPARATIVE ANALYTICAL STUDY

ABSTRACT
Wound is defined as any break in the continuity of the skin. Healing of Wounds is a natural phenomenon. When it becomes chronic and infected and takes more than usual time for healing is called as the NHU- Non Healing Ulcer (Dushta Vrana). The various kind of treatment in the modern science has been explained for the dressing of the wound locally and parenteral drugs. But few of them proves effective and not up to the mark in case of healing of the patient. In case of Ayurveda varies treatment protocol has been explained for the Dushta Vrana including lepa, taila, ghruta application. The usage of the ghruta application in that proves effective. The study has been made to
consider the effect of the Jatyadi Ghruta and EUSOL which has been widely used for the dressing of the wounds.
