APPLICATION OF ITEM RESPONSE THEORY (IRT) TO AN EXTRACT OF THE RESULTS OF MOROCCAN STUDENTS IN THE ‘PISA-2018 MATHEMATICAL CULTURE’ ACQUISITION TESTS

ABSTRACT
This article highlights the basics of evaluation by standardized tests, precise criteria for determining whether an evaluation test has the expected metric qualities, sensitivity, reliability and validity. In addition, we study the knowledge skills of Moroccan students in mathematics as assessed by PISA-2018, through the estimation of the parameters of the Item Response Theory (IRT) model.
