MEDICATED CHEWING GUM-A REVIEW

ABSTRACT

In recent many research and development have been going out in the Oral drug delivery system, only just because of the oral drug delivery system achieved the required stage and it is also easy to administration. Chewing gum is one of the best to use the medication and produce effect by locally and systematically too and chewing gum is going more and more popular these days and mainly effectively used by the children. And as per the popularity medicated chewing is going more and more useful now these days because of its effectiveness and acceptance due to easy administration without water promotes to high compliance. Medicated chewing gum are the MOBILE DRUG DELIVERY system. Medicated chewing gum provides various advantages over conventional drug delivery systems. As like the chewable tablets can be swallowed but medicated chewing gums are not supposed to be swallowed and used to remove from the site of application.
