ROLE OF PANCHAKARMA THERAPY IN GERIATRICS

ABSTRACT

In today context everyone is trying to mentally, socially and physically fit. Although he is kid or adult or in old age people especially older people, are trying different type of yoga, pranayams and exercise to be fit still there are some disorders/disease used to occur in older age like Alzheimer’s diabetes heart disease kidney disease cancer etc. For curing these disease in ayurveda we use panchkarma therapy by the panchkarma therapy internal and external cleansing takes place and flushes all the toxins from body it help to maintaining the doshas in samyaawastha its results healthy life span there are many procedure in panchkarma therapy like shiro vasti , shiro dhara for Alzheimer’s (budhinaas) .
