Abstract

A CRITICAL REVIEW ON JEEVANEEYA GANA FROM BRUHATTRAYEE

ABSTRACT

Jeevaniya gana described first among dashemani by Acharya Charaka which indicates its prime importance for both keeping healthy life and treatment of various diseases. In bruhattrayee extensive use of jeevaniya gana is observed. But single handed information regarding its practice in specific conditions of diseases is unavailable. So to bridge this knowledge gap review on jeevaniya gana from bruhattrayee is carried out. The results were presented in tabular format which can be used as a ready reckoner in day-to-day practice for treatment of several diseases with its specific clinical conditions.
