SECRET OF DHATU POSHANA IN LALITHASAHASRANAM

ABSTRACT

Sri Lalitha Sahasranam is an ancient sacred hymn to the divine mother which is said to bring many blessing to ourself and to the world. Lalitha Sahasranamam is a collection of thousand names of Hindu goddess divine mother Lalitha. It is believed that if we read this Lalitha Sahasranamam we will get rid of our worse situation and get a healthy life with full of happiness. The Lalita Sahasranama is organized in such a way that Devi is described from "Head to Toe" (Kesadi Padam). Description regarding the Sapta Dhatustha Devata, food which makes them happy and chakra sthana where these devatas resides helps in upasana. These description throws light to the concept of Dhathu poshana Anna and Aushadha in Ayurveda.
