A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW ON SIDDHA POLY HERBAL DRUG - KEELVAYU NIVARANA CHOORANAM

ABSTRACT

Siddha medicine is meant to be a “Treasure Medicine” for multiple diseases to get cured. It includes the herbal products, inorganic substances and animal products that lead to various formulations ranging from treating acute to chronic health conditions. In Siddha, one of the main medicinal formulations called “Chooranam” which has been made up of medicinal plants. The Siddha poly herbal formulation Keelvayu Nivarana Chooranam (KVNC) has mentioned in the literature The Pharmacopoeia of Siddha Research Medicine. Here this article gives the detailed systematic review on KVNC in Siddha aspects, Botanical aspects and Pharmacolgical aspescts as well.
