REVIEW ARTICLE: IMPORTANCE OF SOME AYURVEDIC HERBS AND ITS BENEFITS

ABSTRACT
Introduction: Ayurveda is an ancient science that is comprehensive and holistic when it comes to the health of individuals. Ayurvedic herbs are a key component of ayurveda, the traditional practice of medicine of india. Practitioners will generally use ayurvedic herbs to cleanse the body, boost defense against disease,and keep the mind, body and spirit in balance. Right from the ancient times, ayurvedic herbs offered a solution to all kinds of diseases, some of which considered impossible to treat by other fields of medical science. They are derived from a plant source, where the leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds, roots, bark and resin are used to prepare medicines. These herbal medicines have the potential to maintain a balance between the mind and the spirit. There are many ayurvedic herbs around the world. This article will help you to understand which are the best and most ayurvedic herbs and their health benefits. Which described some powerful ayurvedic herbs and spices with health benefits-Ashwagandha, Bhrami, Haritaki, Amala,Guggulu, Guruchi, Shatavari Ajwain etc. Methods: The methodological activities involved during a literature review were. 1- Designing the review concept, 2-conducting the review on review paper, research paper, official websites, related books and analysis of previous publications. Results: In present time ayurvedic herbs could be useful an alternative and integrated approach to decrease the morbidity and mortality and enhance host immunity against covid- 19 attack and also useful for skin diseases like- eczema, psoriasis, Diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis etc. Disscussion: Ayurvedic herbs have enough possibilities to be employed both for the prevention and treatment of the various diseases. These natural products also help minimize any side effects. the timing of ayurveda preparations of the drugs also varies according to the specific diseases and its condition.
