Abstract

A MIXED-METHOD CLINICAL RESEARCH PUBLICATION SERIES: AN ANALYTICAL RESEARCH STUDY ON THE COMPARATIVE QUANTIFICATION OF SYSTEMATIC REVIEWS AND META-ANALYSES ON ANTI-DIABETIC DRUGS; AND, ORGANOIDS, THE NOVEL MEDICAL ADVANCES, PART II: A MEDICAL BOOK.

Dr. Moumita Hazra*

ABSTRACT

There are numerous systematic reviews and meta-analyses conducted on the anti-diabetic drugs, like biguanides, dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors and sodium glucose co-transporter-2 inhibitors. Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis, are the two unique methods of Clinical Research Methods in Medical Sciences including Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology, and Evidence-Based Medicine, that define the intricacies of the clinical study, with a maximal representation of qualitative research, review and analysis, and a minimal supplementation of quantitative analysis, in systematic review; while in meta-analysis, there remains a maximal representation of quantitative research, review and analytical interpretations. In this mixed-method research series, consisting of the comparative and quantitative analytical research study on the clinical research methods conducted on the anti-diabetic drugs and the descriptive analytical research and review on the medical book on organoids, this is being concluded that the meta-analyses were more widely conducted on anti-diabetic drugs, than the systematic reviews. On a descriptive analysis and review of the medical book, it is concluded that the clinical applications of the organoids in pharmaceutical and medical sciences are widely significant innovative milestones in the various processes of future drug discoveries and development, and also in the personalised and regenerative treatment of different complicated and refractory genetic, infectious and malignant diseases, with an augmented level of accuracy, precision, sensitivity and specificity, not possible otherwise.

Keywords: Clinical Research, Systematic Review, Meta-Analysis, Anti-Diabetic Drugs, Mixed Method Clinical Research, Analytical Research, Comparative Quantification, Organoids, Medical Book.
