EFFECT OF USHEERADI TAILA MATRA BASTI IN VATASHTHEELA [BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA]: A CASE STUDY

ABSTRACT
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), which causes lower urinary tract symptoms, is a common disorder of ageing males. The symptoms can be obstructive such as urinary hesitancy, weak stream, straining or prolonged voiding, irritative such as increased urinary frequency and urgency, nocturia, urge incontinence and reduced voiding volumes. A revolutionary treatment approach to this disease is Matra Basti therapy. But it is the need of time to make more efficient Matra basti by doing further research. Therefore, a research work is being performed in Rishikul –Campus hospital of Haridwar. This research article is a case study of a patient of Vatashtheela treated with Usheeradi taila Matra Basti.
