IN-VITRO ANTI-FUNGAL ACTIVITY OF RASAPUSHPADYA MALAHARA

ABSTRACT
Rasapushpadya malahara is a preparation mentioned by Acharya Sadananda Sharma in his work Rasa Tarangini, the main ingredient being Rasapushpa and Siktha Taila as a base. Preparation and standardizing of Rasapushpadya Malahara and Rasapushpa was done and to carry out its antifungal activity. To provide effective Anti-fungal medicine. The result found by statical analyses using Anova method,[6,7,8] with the following concentration as Rasapushpa concentrations of 1mg, 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg and 25mg have similar activity of that of 10mg of Standard Fluconazole at the 0.01 level of Significance. Rasapushpa concentrations of 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg, 25mg and 50mg have
similar activity of that of 10mg of Standard Fluconazole at the 0.01 level of Significance. Finally conclude that Rasapushpa in concentrations of 1mg, 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg, 25mg, 50mg have shown sensitivity for fungi organism.
