ABSTRACT
Rapid in vitro propagation of Lippia nodiflora, a medicinal plant was achieved by culturing nodal explants on MS medium supplemented with different concentration and combination of BAP and NAA. Maximum number of shoot and maximum length of shoot obtained on MS medium supplemented with 1.0mg/l BAP and 0.2mg/l NAA. Callus initiation was stimulated at the basis of the explants in 93.33% of the cultures by 3.0mg/l BAP and 1.0mg/l NAA. The in vitro derived plantlets were transferred to media contain 0.8mg/l IBA obtained maximum number and length of roots. Ninety five percentage of in vitro raised plantlets were acclimatized in to soil.
