MEDICINAL USE OF LYCOPENE: A REVIEW

ABSTRACT
Lycopene is β-carotenoid pigment and phytochemicals present in some fruits and vegetables that gives them their deep red, yellow and orange color. In this article, study and enlist the different plant source of lycopene and also described the application of lycopene in some different kind of disease. According to research of united state, a daily requirement of lycopene is 3.7mg/day was observed. In this topic also described the anti-cancer activity of lycopene with their mechanism of action.
