ABSTRACT

Ayurveda is an ancient science of life that mainly deals with ‘Ayu’ where the Ayu is combination of Sharira, Indriya, Satva & Atma. Ayurveda is Upaveda of Atharveda. It is the science of life based mainly upon Tridosha Siddhant, Ayurveda has been divided in to Eight branches, out of which Shalakya Tantra is one of them. Shalakya Tantra is the science of diseases and their management specific to Urdhvangas.
