Sikata Varga are mainly silicon compound drugs having alchemical binding of mercury (Parada Bandha) as well as therapeutic quality. As there was no much references about these Sikata Varga in Bruhatrayi, Laghutrayee, and also in Rasashastra texts. There is a need in conducting an literary review about the agate which is also one among the sikata Varga and Uparatna Varga.
