A CRITICAL REVIEW ON NIDANA OF HRIDROGA

ABSTRACT

Nidana means reason, it is one among nidana panchaka. There are many types of nidana, while assessing the nidana it’s important to asses’ nidanotta nidana and rogotta nidana. Hridroga is a disease entity which is caused if there is any bada or peeda to Hridaya. Nidana of Hridroga has been categorized under the heading of Samanya and Doshanusara nidana. Here an attempt is made to critically analyse each nidana of Hridroga.
