PEOPLE LESS AWARE BUT TETANUS IS VERY MUCH THERE

ABSTRACT

Reporting two cases of tetanus brought to a rural tertiary care hospital in a span of two months from remote tribal areas. Prognosis of generalized tetanus in children is poor. Prevention by vaccination of all pregnant mothers, infants and children is a part of the national program. However, often, there is lack of awareness regarding need for immunization.
