Abstract

AGNI IN AYURVEDA- REVIEW ARTICLE

ABSTRACT

Agni can be co-related to the Digestive factor or fire. In Ayurveda, Agni is essential factor for the complex formation of human body for bio-transformation of Ahara content into body constitute and its maintenance at its normal level. Every tissue formation is totally dependent on Agni. Agni varies in a person in changing emotional status, in even the stages of diseases, after change in environment, and more. So, Dincharya, Ritucharya Sadvrutta as said in Ayurveda to maintain the homeostasis in body. 13 types of Agni is said in Ayurveda. Before treating the disease every time a thought of Agni is always taken.
