ROLE OF PANCHAVALKALA KWATHA YONIDHAVANA IN GARBHASHAYAGRIVAGATA VRANA (CERVICAL EROSION) – A REVIEW

ABSTRACT

Nowadays women have large number of complaints related with genital organs apart from attending natural process of menstrual cycle, pregnancy and one of the most common disease is Garbhashaya Griva Gata Vrana (Cervical erosion). Any description of Garbhashayagrivagata Vrana is not available in any ayurvedic Samhita, but the reference of Yonivranyekshana Yantra is described in Ashatang Hriday. The selected formulation of Panchavalkala and selected procedure of Yonidhavana is very effective in Garbhashayagrivagata Vrana because Panchavalkal has wound healing properties
