ABSTRACT
Ayurveda which is also known as Science of Life, not only deals with the curative aspect but also deals primarily the preventive aspects than any other systems of the Universe. In the Vedic era Ayurvedic Acharyas and the people have lived almost in the similar way of the nature where they have experienced and observed the laws of nature keenly and their influence on human living being. They observed that the whole evolution is shaped by Panchamahabhoota‟s which oversee the function and development of organism. As such they derive the principle that the organism (Purusha) is Panchabhoutika and under the living faculties of organism there is nothing beyond Panchamahaboota.
