Pantoprazole (56.2%) was prescribed majorly among other class of PPIs. IV route was mostly preferred (64.2%). Considering the concurrent drugs used with PPI's, Antibiotics were prescribed in the most cases (93.4%). Across the overall study, majorly Indicated prescriptions were – 118 (86.1%) Possibly Indicated – 13 (9.5%) Not Indicated 4 – (4.4%). Totally 51 drug interactions were observed. Conclusion: The study found use of PPIs in wide range of indications.
