ABSTRACT

Ortho substituted 1,1- binaphthalene derivative were synthesized in moderate to high yield using a novel, facile and one pot condensation of β-naphthol,1- iodo-2-hydroxy naphthalene and liquid ammonia under microwave irradiations .
