SYNTHESIS OF (R)-METHYL 2-(2-(2-(4-(3-METHYL-5-OXO-4-(2-PHENYLHYDRAZONO)-4, 5-DIHYDRO-1H-PYRAZOL-1-YL) (PHENOXY) (ACETAMIDO) (ACETAMIDO) PROPANOATE

ABSTRACT

Methyl (2R)-2-(2-amino acetamido) propionate hydrochloride(46) was dissolved in chloroform and cooled to o0C then add NMM and stirred for 15 min. then add 2-(4-(3-methyl-5-oxo-4-(2-phenylhydrazono)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)phenoxy)acetic acid (45a) in CHCl3, DCC and stirred for 24h, the reaction was monitored by TLC . After completion of the reaction, washed with CHCl3, the filtarate was washed with 5% sodium bicarbonate and saturated sodium chloride solution. Further the solvent was distilled under reduced pressure to give crude product, it was stirred with hexane to give (R)-methyl 2-(2-(2-(4-(3-methyl-5-oxo-4-(2-phenylhydrazono)-4, 5-dihydro-1H- pyrazol-1-yl) (phenoxy) (acetamido) (acetamido) propanoate 47. The Yield was 60%.
