ABSTRACT

Ayurveda is a science of life. Ayurveda has a glorious history and Ayurveda explained the entire concept in excellent manner not only genetics but many more concept. In present era genetics is a very important topic and it is an interesting topic for researchers. But in our ancient text thousands of year ago genetics has been described in a beautiful way. In our Samhitas there are many concept related to genetics like Beeja, Beejabhaga, and Beejabhagavayava etc. But all concepts are in a scatters form. The purpose of this research paper is to collect, compile, and analyze the references related to genetics in Ayurveda.
