Abstract

VESICULAR NANOCARRIERS: A NOVEL APPROACH FOR TRANSDERMAL DRUG DELIVERY

ABSTRACT

Novel drug delivery system aims to deliver drug at predetermined rate as per the requirement of body. Vesicular nanocarriers overcome various limits of the use of topical drug delivery. Since it has many advantages over conventional delivery systems for transdermal delivery systems. Vesicular nanocarriers like liposomes, Ethosomes, Transfersomes, Transethosomes, Niosomes etc. are found to be well renowned for drug targeting and are used in the treatment of skin fungal infections. Thus, vesicular nanocarriers become the choice in transdermal drug delivery.
