Abstract

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIVITY ON ACORUS CALAMUS AND C. PAREIRA: AN OVERVIEW

Arjesh Raj*, Dr. Sachin Tyagi and Mr. Ravindra K. Mehra

ABSTRACT

It is made from different parts of the plant in many ways. Studies identify a wide range of antitoxic, analgesic, antipyretic, and anticholinergic behaviours. C. Anxiety, memory loss, and epilepsy have traditionally been treated using ACOR roots, and rhizomes are particularly effective in reducing fevers, inflammations, skin tumours, and varicose diseases. Besides, this includes information on pharmacology and pharmaco-dynamics in the pharmaceutical and herbal kingdom (Asarene, oil is commonly known as α-Carole, is a constituent of frankincense.) The term "soapwort" for this butter is also applied to other types of butter made from the oil of a similar appearance. For various reasons, scientists have discovered that the calamus has an anticonvulsant, antioxidant, and immune-modulatory impact. Some organisms in the genus have been shown to contain other antimicrobial, interstitial, and interstitial antibacterial properties and have relaxed smooth muscle. Preliminary studies have suggested that Calamus root oil can cause cancer.

Keywords: Anti- inflammatory, Anti-analgesic, velvet leaf, Calamus.
