Abstract

A REVIEW: SOLID DISPERSIONS FOR ENHANCHING THE SOLUBILITY OF POORLY AQUEOUS SOLUBLE ANTIVIRAL DRUGS

ABSTRACT

Throughout the pharmaceutical sector several experimental medicines were invented and revealed their amazed positive therapeutic results. Unfortunately, permeability and solubility of such medications are the crucial factors effect bioavailability of effective active agent administered via oral route. High lipophilicity and strong pharmaceutical lattice energy leading to low solubility are major practical obstacles for the drug industry to establish a effective drug entity. Therefore, to overcome such problems numerous formulative approaches, such as complexation, micronization, lipid based systems, co crystals, solubilization, nanonization, solid dispersions etc are investigated to improves the efficacy of poorly solubal drugs. In this particular review we just concider effective solid dispersion approach. Solid dispersion is a most effective technique which attracts so many scientists due to of its advantageous property in form to enhances the dissolution of low soluble medications. Various considerations s will be addressed for designing solid dispersion systems, preparation techniques, polymers and carriers used for formulation, their applications, advantages etc are discuss into this review article. Various research conciderations are discuss to improves the bioavailability containing antiviral drugs with the help like solid dispersions and their related patents, these all are concider into this article.
