Abstract

AN ELUCIDATION USING AYURVEDA MEDICATION FOR NEURO DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS IN CHILDREN

ABSTRACT

Ayurveda system of drugs has traditionally been utilized in several neurological conditions. The accessibility, negligible incidence of side effects and price effectiveness of plant products offer considerable advantages. Lately much attention is drawn towards the established traditional systems of herbal remedies for several brain disorders, generating positive hopes for the patients. It’s estimated that quite a lot of populations suffers from mental disorders while the country lags far behind the planet for treatments and spending within the hospitals for neurological cure. Neurodevelopmental disorders are disabilities associated mainly with the operational of the neurological system and brain. Examples of neurodevelopmental disorders in children include attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, learning disabilities. In the Indian Ayurveda system of drugs variety of plants are described for specific uses for a range of disorders. Recent advancement of Ayurvedic Clinical Research shows that so many incurable neurological problems can be successfully treated by Ayurvedic medicines and Panchakarma therapies. This paper mentions the current situation in India for neurological disorder and different Ayurveda medicines which can be helpful in learning disability.
