ABSTRACT A cornual ectopic pregnancy (EP) is an ectopic implantation of the egg, as it is located outside the uterine cavity. EPs of interstitial or ovarian positioning are rare and represent a distinct diagnostic entity. This is a rare pathology in daily practice and represents about 2% of EPs with a mortality rate of 2-2.5%, doubled compared to tubal EPs. We are reporting a case of cornual pregnancy in a 42-year-old woman after tubal ligation; the diagnosis is based on clinical, biology and transvaginal ultrasound. Laparotomy confirmed a left cornual pregnancy. Cornual resection was performed with simple operative consequences. Keywords: Ectopic pregnancy (EP). [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
