ABSTRACT

Garbhavastha is one of the most important and inseparable part in every woman‟s reproductive life that requires utmost care in all aspects. Ayurveda has well recognized the importance of maternal health in relation to fetal well-being. Garbha is dependent on mother for nutrition and development during fetal life. Nutrition is provided to developing fetus by Apara through Garbhanabhinadi. Apara is the vital structure related to garbhasharir in Ayurveda.
