Abstract

REVIEW ON: CLINICAL RECOMMENDATION TO BE FOLLOW IN COVID-19 DISEASE DURING PREGNANCY

ABSTRACT

The novel coronavirus disease 2019 become a new health crisis affecting the people worldwide. According to the international committee on taxonomy of the virus’s causative agent for COVID-19 is severe acute respiratory syndrome-2 (SARS-COV-2). Although significant symptoms of COVID-19 are observed in pregnant women, the transmission of it during childbirth or pregnancy is very uncertain. The precautionary method should be followed daily, like frequent hand wash and social distancing. In case if the patient is not affected by COVID-19, then they should follow the telephonic consultation method to the specialist as a precaution. The standard practice should be following for positive women in labor, obstetric, aesthetics, or neonatal intravenous. The positive result was obtained with an antiviral regimen or combination of hydroxychloroquine with azithromycin. In the case of COVID-19 positive mother, after the delivery, the new-born should be temporarily separated from the mother, and expressed breast milk should give.
