ABSTRACT

Dissolution testing is the one of the major aspect which is used in formulation testing for drug product to release drug from dosage form. Drug release from dosage form is a very imperative thing to be considered in a medicine. Bio means ‘body’ and relevant means ‘compatible’ thus it is very necessary that the dissolution media to be selected is biorelevant. Different dosage form available for one medicine hence to check into different region into the body different media is available to check in vitro activity of dosage form. The view to make this article is that, dissolution media for different route of administration and in vitro in vivo correlation studies also mentioned.
