DRUG ADDICTION, ITS MECHANISM, DRUG RELATED SUBSTANCES, ALTERATION IN GENE EXPRESSIONS AND ITS RISK FACTORS

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND – Drug addiction has become a vi- tal problem across the world as it considered to be a major global concern all over the world. So far people are just aware about addiction and its minor causes, but are not aware about the various issues related to addiction on gene expression and dopa- minergic pathways and its risk causing fac- tors.(“drug addiction” and principles of drug addic- tion 2010).
