Abstract

INFECTIOUS DISEASE DENGUE

ABSTRACT

As per the record of Dengue fever increasing in India. So it is very essential to know more about this disease, attention in viral strain, severity of the disease pattern, viruses detection, management of the disease resulting in good recovery. Background: Dengue fever is a common mosquito borne disease caused by dengue virus. This is the disease which is transmitted through Aedes mosquito. In 1906, transmitting of dengue disease by Aedes mosquito was get to be known and confirmed in 1907. After "Yellow fever", the dengue caused by virus was the second disease. The first dengue fever which was observed first in Phillipines in 1953, was dengue hemorrhagic. Method: Recieved data from locality, in several hospitals and clinic in area of Kurla, Mumbai. The average collection is resulting that there is increase in dengue fever, sometimes it may lead to death. Result: The number of cases in 2019 has been observed increasing than past year. Most of the cases were in Male as compared to female with an age between 18-50 years approximately. This disease usually occur from August to September. The transmission of dengue increased in monsoon and post-monsoon season. Conclusion: At personal and government level, measures had been taken from both, in order to reduce mortality from dengue, especially in monsoon season.
