REVIEW OF DILTIAZEM ANALYSIS METHODS DURING 2010-2020

ABSTRACT

Diltiazem is an anti-cardiovascular drug called calcium channel blocker (CCB), a non-dihydropyridine derivative, which is widely used in the treatment of cardiac ischemia (angina), arrhythmia, and hypertension. Diltiazem preparations on the market are in the form of tablets, Extended-release Capsules, Extended-release tablets, or intravenous injection. This article review discusses the summary of diltiazem analysis methods in various samples that have been used for the past ten years (2010 to 2020). Some of the analytical methods reported are UV / Vis spectrophotometry, spectrofluorimetry, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), voltammetry, electrophoresis, and flow analysis. The HPLC method is the most widely applied analytical technique in the last ten years (2010-2020).
