EXTE NSIVE SURVEY ON UTILISATION OF COSMETICS BY WOMEN OF MAVAL TALUKA FROM PUNE DISTRICT

ABSTRACT

Background: Cosmetic is a preparation applied to the body especially the face to improve its appearance, fragrance or texture of the body. They change the complexion, skin, hair, nails or teeth. It develops self-confidence and it is also a grooming aid. Objective: The objective of the study was to gain information about the psychology on preferences of women towards the use of cosmetics in the rural region of Maval taluka. Method: The information was gathered by carrying out a survey through questionnaires and interaction with women of Maval region. Result: The conduct of the survey showcased information about various aspects of women behaviour towards cosmetics which includes expenditure on them urge towards natural cosmetics and place of its purchase along with beauty issues faced by women of Maval taluka.
