ABSTRACT

Diseases are curse to mankind. Diseases had, have and will challenge the human race. A breakthrough in this came as medicines – discovery of newer medicines and before this was the discovery or identification of various causative factors or organisms which lead to the origin of various diseases. Identifying the cause is a major concern in clinical practice and so our Acharya have given utmost importance in understanding nidana in various views with keen observation for thorough going understanding. This is because nidana paves us the easy way in understanding the disease, it is important in diagnosis which becomes a key factor in treatment and thus the health status of the patient can be reverted back.
