ABSTRACT
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the In-vitro Anthelmintic activity of ethanolic extract of leaves of Annona reticulata linn (Annonaceae) against worms Eisenia fetida. The various concentration range 10, 20, 30 mg/ml, of crude extracts and standards were studied for activity, by examination of paralysis and death time of the worms. Albendazole (20 mg/ml) is used as a standard drug and normal saline water as control. The leaves extract of Annona reticulata had shown a dose dependent inhibition of spontaneous motility (Paralysis) of earthworms. Thus, the present study indicates the leaves of the Annona reticulata linn possess dose dependent anthelmintic activity.
