TRIALS TO PROPOSE TREATMENT FOR COVID WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON EIDD-2801 – A SHORT REVIEW

ABSTRACT

After reviewing existing Literature, treatment for COVID-19 not yet discovered and there is no vaccine as such. However, this article will mainly emphasis on EIDD-2801 drug tested by researchers both in mice & cultured human lung cell infected with various corona viruses, and it shows promising result after testing in mice. Briefly we have mentioned clinical trials carried out with antiviral drugs & antibiotic combination in brief .Clinical trials for “Convalescent Plasma therapy” has been started on covid-19 critically ill patients. GSK & Sanofi team going to work together to bring out COVID-19 vaccine, which if passes clinical trials would become available by 2021.
