CRITICAL STUDY OF JWARANKUSH RASA AND TRIBHUVANKEERTI RASA IN JWARA CHIKITSA

ABSTRACT

Rasashastra an integral part of Ayurveda deals with Rasa (mercury) and other minerals, metals herbal, poisonous plant and aquatic origin substance so rasaaushadhis have wide spectrum of action. In Ayurveda it is mentioned diseases that all diseases are developed as consequences of jwara. Jwara is commonly found in clinical practice. Jwara is produced due to srotasaavrodha and in jwara aruchi, agnimandya, samata the signs are present. So, for management of jwara Kharliya kalpas are used, like - Jwarankusha and Tribhuvankeerti rasa. Kharliya kalpas has more therapeutic action due to mardan and mardan increases the absorption.
