Abstract

CONCEPTUAL STUDY OF DHAMANI WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO VESSELS

ABSTRACT

Aim of the research is to identify what is Dhamani, its importance and its correlation with various vessels in the body. Materials and methods include compilation of all the references regarding Dhamani and its correlation with modern anatomy with the help of modern literature. Results will be based on study of modern and Ayurveda references. Conclusion will be derived with the help of obtained data. Clinical significance: The perfect knowledge of Dhamani will help understand the meaning of various Sootras in Ayurveda texts for precise meaning of Dhamani. The treatments like treatment of fever, Nadi Pariksha and Nabhi poorana can be done more perfectly with perfect conceptual understanding of word Dhamani.
