ABSTRACT
The degradation behavior of Alverine citrate was investigated under oxidative stress condition. The study was conducted as per available guidelines and reference articles. The primary aim is to evaluate the stability of drug substance and formulation. Various stress conditions were used to detect the stability of Alverine citrate. Forced oxidative degradation of Alverine citrate was performed in bulk and solid oral formulation using 30% Hydrogen peroxide. The resulting solutions were analyzed for content by UV spectrophotometry. The assay value of Alverine citrate bulk and formulation was calculated at different time intervals for intraday and interday experiments. Alverine citrate was found to degrade extensively under oxidative conditions.
