Abstract

CLINICAL STUDY OF EFFICACY OF BHADRANIMBAKULATHYADI NIRUHA BASTI IN THE MANAGEMENT OF MEDOVRIDDHI W.S.R. TO HYPERLIPIDAEMIA

ABSTRACT

The aim of present study was to evaluate the efficacy of Bhadranimbakulathyadi Niruh Basti in the management of Medovriddhi (Hyperlipidaemia). As Medovriddhi (Hyperlipidaemia) is the disease of modern era, it has become a epidemic now. The present studies of 30 patients were selected for each group according to inclusion criteria. Bhadranimbakulathyadi Niruha Basti was given after ab-hyanga and swedan of Adho udar region, kati and both legs for 16 days. Follow up was taken after 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th weeks. Statistical analysis was done which lead to conclusion that Bhadranimbakulathyai Niruha Basti were remarkably effective in the management of medovriddhi (Hyperlipideamia).
